I love computer games. FPS, RTS, RPG, sidescrollers, adventures, whatever. I play them all. ..but not when they first come out, since I can't afford to pay the full retail price for every single game.
Some of my all-time favorite games are:

Unreal Tournament

This is a well-known first-person shooter. I play the original game, as well as the mods Unreal Fortress and Tactical Ops. My online name is "(HW)Wurzel[MIB])SG(>"... In case you're wondering, "wurzel" is German for "root", I got the name from my days experimenting with Q3A on Linux. I'm a proud member of the guilds Malicious Indestructible Bananas and Suicidal Grenadiers, as well as being the defense leader of the Noth American divison of the (former) UnF clan Honorable Warriors (we have now moved from UnF to Battlefield 1942 and UT2k3 Bombing Run).

Quest for Glory series

This is an older adventure/role-playing series. Great graphics (for the time), music, gameplay, puzzles... This series has it all. Best suited to slower computers, though...

Commander Keen series

Probably the best sidescroller ever to be made. 1 & 4 (both available for free) are the highlights of the series IMNSHO. Arguably Id's last great games...

Carmageddon series

Some of the best racing ever, and WAY more fun than wasting other cars and running over pedestrians should be.

Wing Commander series

Some of the best space dogfight simulation games. Don't try to run #1 on anything above a 486 though...
